This privacy notice aims to give you information on how World Series Racing (WSR) collects and processes your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide through WSR and our communication platforms when you sign up or take part in our competitions.
This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.
It is important that you read this privacy notice together with any other privacy notice or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data. This privacy notice supplements the other notices and is not intended to override them.
What information do we collect?

b) information that you provide to us for the purpose of registering as a member (including Full name, date of birth, gender, country of residence and email address); and

We will ensure that any information will be held only as long as is necessary to ensure our service runs smoothly.
Personal information including your full name and country of residence is requested when joining via our Discord channel and are available to all visitors to the WSR Discord Channel.

(b) in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings;
(c) in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk); and

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure password and firewall protected server. Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet. You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential.
Under the Data Protection Act you have the right to request a copy of the personal information that we holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. (We charge £10 for information requests and will require you to prove your identity with 2 pieces of approved photographic identification.) We will use reasonable efforts to supply, correct or delete personal information about you on our files.
